Pythagoras invented the concept in the 6th century, B.C. it was studied for the ethereal fate of individuals and to predict certain events. It considers both the numbers and date of birth like the Chaldean system. The numbers that are considered as the basic ones are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9. 11 and 22 are known as the master number. - In Chinese astrology, the numerology has been divided into even and odd numbers. The number 4 is considered bad luck.
- Indian numerology is calculated on the basis of date of birth together with the name number of that person. It requires Vedic calculations also. It was adopted in the later 8th or 9th century.
- The Kabbalah or Hebrew Numerology only considers the name number of the person, which is considered less accurate than the others. However, it is considered as one of the ancient systems of numerology.
- Chaldean Numerology was originated from Mesopotamia. It is somewhat related to Vedic maths of India. Here 9 is considered as the most auspicious number.
- The Egyptian or Kemetic numerology was originally discovered in 1848-1801 BC. It is the most ancient system even before the Pythagoras principals.
- Likely, the number 666 is considered as bad luck and sometimes evil. But at the same time, the number 888 is considered as good Oman.
